The n-back task is a psychological test that is commonly used to assess working memory by cognitive scientists and clinicians. n-Back by JLab allows you to design your own n-back experiments, and then collect and export professional quality data for your school, college or university research projects.

n-Back by JLab provides instantly usable versions of the task, but our intuitive interface also allows you to easily customize the length, difficulty and types of stimuli used in the experiment. Single- and dual n-back tasks are supported. Data from participants can be exported by e-mail, making further analysis in other software packages simple.
